About Me

Hello! Welcome to my site. My name is Verona Vidano, and I use this platform to offer my services in the culinary industry.

 

My work experience spans multiple sectors, including restaurants, hotels, grocery stores, high-volume catering, and manufacturing. Regardless of the business model, my focus has always been on strengthening the industry.

 

The goal of my site is to provide culinary businesses with tools that enhance the quality of their services. By sharing valuable skills and resources developed over my years in the industry, I aim to make work in our culinary world more intuitive and efficient.

What I Do

As part of the UBaron Group, I develop innovative food products that balance quality, cost-effectiveness, and customer convenience.

 

My expertise spans a whole spectrum in kitchen management, retail operations and R&D, with a strong focus on retail product development tailored to nutrition, consumer needs and market demands.

At Etais Catering, I develop wholesale and retail food products for both B2B and direct-to-consumer sales, utilizing the company’s distribution system to serve the local market.

Izzio Bakery

With Izzio Bakery I work as a development chef of food products for retail sale, incorporating bakery ingredients into frozen foodservice items designed for nationwide distribution.

Alfalfa's Markets

Culinary Director

At Alfalfa's I oversaw all culinary departments across three retail locations, managed department budgets, supervisors, and restaurant operations, and led product development for Prepared Foods.

The Armstrong Hotel

Executive Chef

At the Armstrong I managed the hotel's restaurant kitchen and hotel banquet events; designed the banquet program, offered beer pairings, wine pairings, and other gastro-social events.  

I was also executive chef to the Ace Gillett’s Jazz Lounge.
